About George Greaves

George Greaves is a British illustrator whose surreal creations have been making waves in the art community. Known for his bold, graphic designs and a unique blend of influences, George’s work is a testament to the power of imagination and creativity. A designer celebrated for his classical mythology, symbolism and artworks enriched with archetypes, he is a graduate of Illustration and Visual Communication from the University of Westminster. Among his art practice he also co-founded ‘Printed Goods’ with his twin brother, Raphael Greaves.

Artistic Influences and Style  

Greaves draws inspiration from early modernist artists like Matisse, Miró, De Chirico, and David Hockney. Through dual-tone color schemes and playful compositions, he weaves symbolism into each piece, with significant architectural influences from the works of Ricardo Bofill.
