ABOUT ART PARIS 2021
Art Paris 2021 is the first Modern and Contemporary Art Fair to take up residence in the Grand Palais Éphémère on the Champ-de-Mars.
Being the first art fair in the world to open its doors in September 2020 after lockdown restrictions ended, Art Paris 2021 is also the first art fair to take up residence in the Grand Palais Éphémère on the Champ-de-Mars.
The space design is by renowned architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The spectacular temporary structure is situated in front of the École Militaire, close to the Eiffel Tower. It will host events in schedule at the Grand Palais until the building reopens for the Olympic Games in 2024.
Making Contemporary Art Accessible to All
Art Paris aims at making contemporary art accessible to the widest audience, offering some 80 guided tours of the fair as well as a number of specific tools. For instance, the elaborate and practical website presents a virtual visit to the fair. The filters allow visitors to search for works by artist, price, geographical provenance, and technique.
