Central Theme: The Amazon Project

The 2025 edition of ARCO Madrid centers around the Amazon with the project titled “Wametise: Ideas for an Amazofuturism.” Curated by Denilson Baniwa and María Wills in collaboration with the Institute for Postnatural Studies, this initiative explores innovative modes of creation that depict hybrid existences intertwining human, plant, physical, and metaphysical entities.
